Voiceover Agent

Coming from an acting background, and having dabbled behind the scenes in the TV and Film industry since graduating in 2014, Yashi has brought her knowledge of the entertainment industry to the team.

Her love for the industry sometimes makes her a harsh critic, but having experience behind the scenes also gives her the knowledge of what casting directors are looking for.

She is also what she calls “The Concept Director”, and is responsible for creative ideas both inside and outside of Excellent Talent.

Yashi loves Anime, K-drama and theatre, and always has her ear to the ground looking for new talent. She is also a huge, and we mean huge, fan of Kpop, especially BTS! (Find her “trying” to sing in Korean, randomly around the office!)

And to better get to know Yashi, we also asked her a few more of those pressing questions:

If you could compare yourself with any animal, which would it be and why?
A wolf: I value my friends and family and we spend a lot of time together, but I also value my alone time and independence. Wolves also have an affinity towards the Moon and are strikingly beautiful and deadly; they come across as very spiritual creatures and I love that about them!

If you got to choose a song that would play every time you entered a room, what song would you pick, and why?

Stevie Wonder – Isn’t she lovely, it’s the song my Dad plays on my Birthday every year.

Tina Turner – I’m coming out, because I like to think that it is what I was singing when I decided to be born prematurely – sorry Mum!

If you headed to the breakroom and discovered a live penguin in the freezer, what would you do?

Pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming, and then take it out!! The poor thing.
Name it Patricia, however it identifies, the name will be Patricia the Penguin!

I am responsible, so I would call animal control and get it seen by a Veterinarian to make sure it’s OK, and hopefully find it a nice home – but not before I take loads of pictures of my new friend.

Also I would be mighty impressed that our office building upgraded to a fridge/freezer that fit a full size penguin in it!
